PERSONAL FILES
Funniest prank in training camp:
This one happened to me. In training camp, when the veterans tell you to, you have to stand up in the cafeteria and sing your favorite song. Well, I forgot the words … to my own favorite song! It was Stevie Wonder, “My Cherie Amour.” I got stage fright and everyone thought that was pretty funny.

Best QB I’ve faced:
Donovan McNabb.

Best defensive player I’ve played with:
Troy Polamalu. In college it was Ernie Sims.

Describe the biggest hit of your career:
It was in a high school game in the state finals, and I was mad because we were about to lose. On the last play of the game they ran a sweep, and I cut it back on this kid and laid him out. He had a seizure right there on the field. I guess I let loose a lot of stress on him.

Closest friends in football:
Steelers LaMarr Woodley, Bryant McFadden, William Gay, and lots of guys from Florida State.

Favorite foods:
Pecan encrusted salmon, and I like the veggies with it, too. Also steak and potatoes, Kobe beef, the bloomin’ onion, and, of course, hot wings with grape soda.

Favorite movies:
I’m a big movie fiend, I like Fridays because that’s when all the new movies come out. I like that one guy, Shia LaBeouf. Some of my favorites: All the “Friday” movies, like “Friday After Next,” “Bad Boys II,” “Harlem Nights.” I liked “Home Alone” and “Home Alone 2” but “Home Alone 3” was just terrible. I like the “Diehard” movies, too, especially the one with Samuel L. Jackson. Oh, and I loved “Superbad.”

What’s in your iPod?
A lot of Old School … Earth, Wind & Fire, Champagne King’s “Shame,” “Rhythm of the Night” by DeBarge, Rick James, all the old Michael Jackson, “Thriller,” “Beat It,” “PYT,” “Don’t Stop ’Til You Get Enough.” I like singing in the shower, I really let loose in there and feel at home. I sing stuff from the ’70s and ’80s, like Chaka Khan with Rufus.

Superstitions:
If I have a good game, the next game I do all the same stuff time-wise. I try to eat the same foods, try to do everything the same, wear the same clothes, the same socks and tank tops. I never change my shoes after a good game. Most guys wear a new pair of shoes for every game, but I don’t.

Best qualities for a person to have:
Being humble. I always try to be humble, show respect. Try to always be a good guy.

Charitable endeavors:
I donate 10% to the church and help out with service programs. I’m a Baptist.

My hero is:
I was always a big Shannon Sharpe fan, in high school I wore his No. 82. In college I couldn’t get it so I wore No. 83. I always wanted to be a good tight end, but I guess I was just better as a linebacker.
